TripThatFits is a service operated by Qvan LLC (d/b/a TripThatFits). You can reach us about anything on this page at legal@tripthatfits.com.
TripThatFits sets no cookies — no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies — and we embed no third-party ad or analytics trackers of our own. Here is exactly what we do use, and why.
We keep a small amount of functional data in your browser's localStorage — not in cookies. This is a random session identifier and a short list of your recently saved trips, so a return visit on the same device can show your recent plans. It is functional only and is never used for cross-site tracking or advertising.
If you arrive through a creator's or partner's referral link (a link containing ?ref=), we store that referral code in your browser's localStorage for up to 30 days, so that if you save and book a trip we can credit the creator who sent you. It is a plain code, holds no personal information, and is never used for cross-site tracking. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
To protect the Service from abuse, we apply rate limiting keyed to your IP address on the server. This is a server-side security measure, not a cookie, and the records are automatically pruned. See our Privacy Policy for details.
When you click an outbound booking link, you leave TripThatFits and go to a partner's site (for example Viator, DiscoverCars, or Travelpayouts / Aviasales / Hotellook). Those partners may set their own cookies on their sites, under their own cookie and privacy policies. We do not control those cookies.
Clearing this site's stored data (below) removes the session identifier, your recent-trips list, and any referral code at any time.
